Jaguar Electrical Diagnostics

Jaguar uses Jaguar Land Rover's body-electronics architecture: a Body Control Module (BCM), the Keyless Vehicle Module (KVM) for keyless and security functions, and a central gateway. Faults on the KVM and BCM are well-known causes of 'key not detected', no-start and locking problems. JLR diagnostics use SDD and the newer Pathfinder tool. We diagnose the complete system before recommending any module replacement.

Jaguar Control Modules & Electronics

Key modules and electronic systems used across Jaguar vehicles. Correct identification of the module is the first step in proper diagnosis.

BCM — Body Control Module

Lighting, locking, wipers, comfort and power management.

KVM — Keyless Vehicle Module

Keyless entry, start and immobiliser; key-not-detected and no-start faults.

Gateway

Network gateway; communication faults affect multiple systems.

IPC — Instrument Cluster

Warning messages and display faults.

DSC / ABS

Stability control.

Adaptive Dynamics / Suspension

Electronic damper and air-suspension control.

ADAS / Camera + Radar

Driver-assistance systems.
