Faults We Deal With

Auto Electrical Faults, Diagnosed

From a single warning light to a whole network dropping out, these are the faults we diagnose and repair every day. Choose a fault type below to see the symptoms, common causes and how we approach it — using dealer-level tooling, not guesswork.

Safety

Airbag & SRS Faults

Airbag, seatbelt-tensioner and occupancy-sensor faults. Red SRS light diagnosis, crash-data clearing where appropriate and module replacement with correct coding.

Engine

Engine Management Faults

Check-engine / MIL warnings, misfires, emissions codes, DPF and EGR faults. Diagnosed at sensor, actuator and ECU level — not parts swapped on a guess.

Security

Immobilisers & Key Coding

Key not recognised, all-keys-lost, additional-key coding and immobiliser faults. Factory-level key programming across all major marques.

Braking

ABS & Traction Control

ABS, traction-control and stability-control warnings. Wheel-speed sensors, ABS modules, pumps and coding — diagnosed and repaired properly.

Hybrid & EV

High Voltage (EV / Hybrid) Systems

Hybrid and electric-vehicle high-voltage diagnosis — traction battery, inverter, drive motor and HV isolation faults, to manufacturer safety procedures.

Electrical

12V Electrical Systems

Battery, charging, alternator, earth points, fuses and feeds. Parasitic-drain tracing and full 12V system health checks across the whole vehicle.

Network

CAN Bus & Communication Networks

CAN, LIN, FlexRay, MOST and Ethernet bus faults. Modules dropping off the network, 'no communication' codes and network-topology diagnosis.

Electrical

Wiring Faults

Short circuits, open circuits, chafed looms, broken wires and corroded connectors. Traced, repaired and tested — not just bypassed.

Damage

Rodent & Wildlife Damage

Chewed wiring, soy-based insulation attacks and nest damage. Full loom inspection, repair and rodent-proofing protection.

Modules

Control Unit (ECU) Failures

Failed ECU, TCM, BCM or sensor module — diagnosed, repaired, cloned or replaced and coded to factory standard.

Modules

Body Control Modules (BCM)

BCM / SAM / UEC faults — central locking, lights, wipers, horn and interior functions. Diagnosis, cloning, replacement and coding.

Dash

Instrument Clusters

Dead or intermittent dash, gauges dropping out, backlight failure and CAN coding. Cluster repair, replacement and coding.

Body

Central Locking Systems

Locks not working, deadlocking, key-fob and convenience faults. Door modules, lock actuators and comfort-system diagnosis.

Security

Alarm Systems

False alarms, siren faults, alarm that won't set or won't disarm. Factory alarm diagnosis, sensor testing and module coding.

Safety

ADAS — Advanced Driver Assistance

Adaptive cruise, lane-keep, AEB, blind-spot and radar/camera calibration. Calibration after screen, sensor or module changes.

Assist

Cameras & Parking Systems

Reversing cameras, 360 systems, parking sensors and park-assist faults. Diagnosis, camera/sensor replacement and calibration.

Safety

Safety Systems

Seatbelt tensioners, occupancy sensors, crash sensors and passive-safety faults. Full SRS and safety-loop diagnosis.
